A one-week creative challenge for graphic design students at the University of Portsmouth. The project is a partnership between the Dyson Creative team, and The Tyre Collective – 2020 UK winners and global runners-up of the James Dyson Award.
The aim of the project is to encourage creative
thinking that leads to graphic solutions that are effective and compelling, as well as visually attractive.
The Tyre Collective is a clean-tech start-up spearheading
the capture and monitoring of tyre wear, accelerating the shift towards true zero-emission mobility.
The Co-founders Hanson, Hugo, Siobhan, and Deepak
began the project as part of their MA/MSc in Innovation
Design Engineering at Imperial College London and the Royal College of Art.
They have created a ‘capture-to-reuse’ device which can
be fitted to the wheel of any vehicle. It uses electrostatics to collect these waste particles as they are emitted from the tyres.
All assets in my submission were created using Cinema 4D, Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
